Carol Ellis Campbell, CPA
Accounting Manager
aka Number Cruncher
Carol is responsible for the day-to-day accounting functions – payables, receivables, payroll and financials – for Experience Grand Rapids. She started working here one day a week when she was re-entering the work force after raising her children … and we gradually enticed her to take on more and more work, until she was a full-time team member. (We’re sneaky that way.)
Carol earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics (with a concentration in accounting) from the prestigious Wharton School of Finance at the University of Pennsylvania. She worked as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) at multinational professional services firm Ernst & Young in her earlier career.
The Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park is an absolute gem - we're lucky to have it here!
Carol names Hilton Head, South Carolina as her favorite non-GR travel destination. “It has all the my favorite activities – tennis, golfing, biking and beach.” (We’d be remiss if we didn’t mention that all those activities are also available in our Grand Outdoors.)
